1. Course fees must be paid for in advance, no less than 90 days prior to the start date of a course.  If the applicant fails to comply with this condition, the school cannot guarantee a place in the course, and no refunds will be given.  
  2. The Courageous Cooking school shall be under no liability whatsoever, for any loss, injury or damage to students or their property, whether in respect of any neglect, act or omission by the school, its agents or employees.
  3. If a student wishes to cancel a course, no monies that have been paid will be refunded.  If it is between 1 and 89 days before the original start date, a fee of $1000 per person will be required to transfer enrollment.  From enrollment to 90 days before start date, all monies can be transferred to a future cooking school.  If cancellation is received within 48 hours of enrollment, a full refund will be sent.  
  4. In instances where funding for a course has been provided by a third party or funding scheme, it may not be possible to provide a refund. However, credit will be retained for future courses. In this instance, credit may only be used by the original purchaser of the course.
  5. If a student is considered by the Courageous Cooking School to be unsuitable for any reason, the student may be required to leave, either immediately or within a specified time at the discretion of the staff of the Courageous Cooking School.
  6. Fees cannot be refunded if classes are missed due to illness, travel issues, acts of God, etc. Attendance at all cooking classes is required in order to receive certificate.  
  7. Unless otherwise stated, all Courageous Cooking School Classes are available only to people of 16 years or older.  It may be possible to accommodate younger students with prior approval from the school, but this is only on a case by case basis.  Please inquire before booking.  
  8. The Courageous Cooking School  reserves the right, under unavoidable circumstances, to alter the timing or content of any course or of the curriculum and to substitute any teacher or instructor or to cancel a course at any time.
  9. Nothing in this policy will affect the customer’s statutory entitlements under the sale of goods and supply of services legislation.
  10. It is suggested, if concerned about needing to refund or reschedule, to hold travel insurance.
