La Pitchoune (La Peetch) has been the home to cooking classes for over three decades. These days, we primarily operate as a serviced villa, but still offer cooking classes

Courageous Cook Camp

Now Booking for 2026

Who’s this for: Solo Travelers, Couples and Friend Trips; For avid and new cooks.

Group Size: Up to 19 guests, split over two properties. Cooking class sizes are smaller, as we have multiple kitchens.

When: Spring and Fall 2026, multiple weeks available

About the Program: We’ve teamed up with the RecipeKick team to offer Cook Camp at La Pitchoune and Bramafam (Simone Beck’s property). This experience features much of the ‘As Seen On TV’ experience known as the Courageous Cooking School as seen the international television show La Pitchoune: Cooking in France, but is not a masterclass cooking program. It’s a lot less formal, takes over multiple properties, and is truly a choose your own adventure experience for cooks (and non-cooks) of all stripes and levels.

Investment: Starts at $6,500 a person for shared occupancy

Who’s this for & Group Size: Groups of 5-7 friends or family members, who want a deep-dive masterclass in Recipe-Free Cooking. We only offer this experience as a full buyout. And the group must be a minimum of 5 people.

When: Anytime on request, except July and August

About the Program: In 2025, we decided to retire the public, mixed group model of the Courageous Cooking School. But have opened it up to groups who still want to have a fully catered, fully handled, Cooking centric vacation in the historical kitchen at La Pitchoune.

This is the original Courageous Cooking School which is a fully-serviced, high-touch experience with a 1:1 staff ratio; daily cooking classes; food centric excursions to markets, cheese mongers, and more.

Investment: $75,000 all-inclusive price for 5-7 people
